PONDICHERRY, APRIL 5. Former Pondicherry judge, S. Murugaboopathy, has been appointed honorary president of the Pondicherry State committee of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). N. Ardhanari has been made president. The other office bearers are: R. Anbalagan and M. Selvaraj (vice-presidents), V.S. Mani (secretary) Prakash (joint secretary) and V. Venkataraman (treasurer). The executive committee members are: K. Swaminathan, Sundaramoorthy and Sandosh. The announcement of the formation of the committee was made in the presence of the International Working president of the VHP, Ashok Singhal, at a press conference here on Sunday.
