`Dak Adalat'

MADURAI, APRIL 5 . The Department of Posts will organise a State-level `Dak Adalat' in the last week of April at the office of the Postmaster General, Western Region, R.S. Puram, Coimbatore, to redress the grievances of customers.

Complaints should contain details such as the date and time of posting, the address of the sender and the addressee and the registration receipt number with date and office of booking for money order, value paid, registered, insured and speed post articles.

If the complaint is about savings schemes or Postal Life Insurance, it should contain the account number, the PLI policy number, the name and address of the depositor or insured person, the name of the post office, the details of recovery and any reference of the Postal department, if available, according to a press release.

All complaints should be sent either by ordinary or registered post to S. Vasudevan, Manager (Public Grievances), Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Tamil Nadu Circle, Chennai - 2, within a week.
