NEW DELHI, APRIL 5. The Station House Officer (SHO) of New Ashok Nagar police station was allegedly manhandled by a woman and some lawyers over a dispute inside the Tis Hazari courts premises in North Delhi today. According to the police, Inspector Ashok Tyagi had gone to attend a hearing on a West Delhi murder case. He was near the gate No. 1 of the court premises when a woman, Usha, confronted him. Usha, who was involved in a New Ashok Nagar property dispute, accused Inspector Tyagi of not doing anything in the case, which is actually with the area Sub-Divisional Magistrate. She is a clerk with a lawyer. Some lawyers accompanying her then beat up Inspector Tyagi. He sustained minor injury on the nose. The SHO has lodged a case against Usha and three of the lawyers. For her part, Usha has also lodged a case against him. While no arrests have been made in the case so far, investigations are on.
