THRISSUR, APRIL 6. A 35-year-old toddy tapper was hacked to death allegedly by another at Pengamukku, near Kunnamkulam, this afternoon. The police identified the victim as Sudhakaran (35) of Pengamukku. The accused P. G. Velayudhan Nair (42) of Pengamukku had later surrendered at the Kunnamkulam police station. A drunken brawl at a toddy shop had led to the murder, the police said.
