Mercedes-Benz sales up 40 p.c.
PUNE: DymlerChrysler India has increased its Mercedes-Benz passenger cars to 534 units in the first quarter of 2004 from 385 units in the same period in 2003, a growth of 40 per cent. The increase in sales volume was witnessed in all the segments. The new E-Class (W 211), which was introduced at the end of 2002, and beginning of 2003 has shown a growth of 80 per cent in the first quarter 2004, says a release.
