BANGALORE: Faber-India, kitchen chimney company, launched its new campaign," Faber Mom, Cool Mom", with the former Miss India Shonal Rawat as its brand ambassador, here on Tuesday. Prahlad Bhutada, Managing Director, Faber India, told presspersons that the objective of the new campaign was to further strengthen the company's "brand positioning and brand association" in the country's kitchen appliances market. He also announced the "life time warranty" on Faber's selected products. Explaining new investment and expansion plans he said that the company would be spending an estimated Rs. 11crores on various expansion, marketing, promotional and advertising activities. It would open 40 exclusive mini Faber galleries across the country at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.5 crores and spend another Rs. 2 crores on consumer education programme. It had launched a new section called "Faber care" for educating consumers on various aspects of kitchen chimney such as usage and maintenance. It had earmarked Rs. 6 crores for advertising, marketing and promotional activities. Claiming that the company's market share in Bangalore was over 70 per cent, he said that southern market contributed 40 per cent of Faber's total sales and Bangalore's share in it was 20 per cent. The company was planning to set up 8 new mini galleries in the south and of them five would be in Bangalore, he said.
