Kollam
KOLLAM, APRIL 6. The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) will be contesting from seven constituencies in the State. At a press conference here today, the party candidate from the Kollam constituency, Shyla K. John, said that the party would highlight the "anti- people" policies of the Central and State Governments as the main campaign agenda. She termed the Congress and the BJP as the enemies of the people. The aim of both the parties was to create a bi-party political system and rule alternatively. In addition to Kollam, SUCI candidates would be contesting from Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Mavelikara, Kottayam and Kozhikode.
