Madhya Pradesh
By Our Staff Correspondent
BHOPAL, APRIL 6. The Bharatiya Janata Party in Madhya Pradesh today celebrated its Foundation Day by organising rallies, taking out processions, offering prayers and performing yagyas "for ensuring the country's progress and getting an absolute majority for the party in the parliamentary elections''. A three-day art exhibition, which would conclude at the party headquarters here tomorrow, coincides with BJP's Foundation Day. The exhibition sheds light on the BJP-led NDA Government's "achievements and the drawbacks of the main Opposition Congress party''. Besides a huge rally at Bhawani Chowk in the heart of the city this evening, the party also organised public rallies in different parts of the State. These rallies were addressed by senior State BJP leaders, who joined processions taken out in many cities and district towns. A special `yagya' was performed by senior party leaders at Samata Chowk in the busy New Market area today.
