Sub-junior basketball meet
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
APRIL 6.
The 31st Kerala sub-junior basketball championship will be held at the M.T. High School floodlit courts, Kuriyanoor (Pathanamthitta district), from April 12 to 16.
Teams from all the 14 districts in the State are expected to field their teams in both the boys' and girls' sections.
Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram were the winners of the boys' and girls' titles last year.
A PDBA release said the best players in both sections would be awarded the Prof. C.S. Abraham memorial cash awards from this year.
The State teams to take part in the National sub-junior championship to be held in Thiruvananthapuram during August will be chosen from this meet. — Our Special Correspondent
