KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 6. The Collector, Sumita Dawra, visited the hailstorm-affected villages of Nerella, Chinnalingapur, Narsimhulapalli in Sircilla to assess the crop damages on Tuesday. #Expressing concern over huge damage to the paddy, green gram and mango crops, she assured the farmers of all necessary steps to provide compensation by submitting a report to the Government. She instructed the Sircilla RDO, Nagendra, to distribute Rs. 500 as immediate relief to farmers whose cattle-sheds were destroyed. She also promised to reschedule bank loans and provide new loans to the farmers.
