THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 6. The nine-day-long agitation by the district committee of the BSNL Employees Union was called off today following a negotiated settlement with the Principal General Manager. A pressnote issued by the union here today said the authorities had agreed to shift 26 offices in the city from rented premises to buildings owned by the BSNL. It said an agreement had been reached on taking action against officials misusing vehicles and restricting the use of official vehicles. The Deputy Managers for Planning, Administration and Finance and union representatives K. Raveendran, R. Muraleedharan Nair and G. Rajendran took part in the talks.
