NEW DELHI, APRIL 6. Over a dozen people were injured when two vehicles in which they were travelling overturned in separate accidents reported from North Delhi today. The police said an RTV was going at high speed and overturned as the driver lost control. The injured were taken to the Trauma Centre where they were reported to be out of danger. At Timarpur, another RTV overturned on an intersection leaving 11 injured. The vehicle was taking a turn at a high speed when it overturned.
Suicide cases
Two persons allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in separate incidents reported from different parts of the Capital. A 30-year-old man hanged himself from a tree in front of the house of his in-laws at Ambedkar Nagar in South Delhi today. According to the police, Lalit, a resident of New Basti Nangal Dairy, came to the house of his in-laws at Dakshinpuri in Ambedkar Nagar and hanged himself today morning. Preliminary investigations revealed that Lalit was married to Lata for the past two years. However, Lata had been living with her parents for the past six months. At Bhanjanpura in North-East Delhi, 30-year-old Bhupesh allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his house today. Bhupesh, who used to put up stalls in the weekly market, was married for the past three-and-a-half years. The police believe that marital discord was the reason behind the incident.
