TIRUCHI, APRIL 7 . The Tiruchi District Retired Officials Association urged the State Government to sanction dearness pay for pensioners on the lines of the Central norms. In a resolution adopted at its meeting held here yesterday the association referred to the dearness pay announced by the Centre, merging 50 per cent of the DA and called upon the State Government to take a similar measure for its pensioners. The secretary of the association, K. Palaniandi, and the president in-charge, N. Narayanasamy, spoke.
