S.G. Sports in quarterfinals

NEW DELHI, APRIL 7. Lalit Rawat's quick-fire 89 and Ashwani Kumar's four for 16 steered S.G. Sports to a 175-run win against Ghaziabad Mahanagar Academy and a place in the quarterfinals of the BDM cricket tournament at the Nehru Stadium here.

The scores: S.G. Sports 290 for eight in 40 overs (Lalit Rawat 89, Sandeep Rana 46, Vijay Kumar 39, Vikas Kumar three for 15, Dinesh Chand three for 18) beat Ghaziabad Mahanagar Academy 115 in 26.2 overs (Ashok Rana 48, Neeraj Choudhary 36, Ashwani Kumar four for 16).
