Arun Prasad, Vinuthna strike gold

KOZHIKODE, APRIL 8. India's S. Arun Prasad and N. Vinuthna struck gold in the Asian under-18 and under-16 chess championships in Teheran, according to information received here on Friday.

Arun won the gold in the under-16 boys' event, in which compatriot G.N. Gopal claimed the bronze.

Vinuthna emerged the champion in the girls' under-18 event. India took all the medals in that section, as Eesha Karvade claimed the silver and top seed Dronavalli Harika the bronze.
