Ms. George had been suspended from the party for her alleged remarks inside and outside the Assembly against the Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, while Mr. Wahid had been suspended for contesting the last Assembly elections as a rebel from the Kazhakuttam constituency. Addressing a press conference here today, Mr. Thankachan said the decision to withdraw the suspension orders against them was taken in the light of the unconditional apology they had given along with an assurance that they would not repeat their mistakes in future.
