FCI takes title

NEW DELHI, APRIL 8. Food Corporation of India (FCI) defeated Collage Group by 25 runs in the final of the SAIL Trophy cricket tournament at the Mohan Nagar ground here on Thursday.

The scores:

FCI 187 for eight in 40 overs (Sonu Vaid 33, Aparajit Singh 32 not out, Sanjay Gill three for 28) beat Collage Group 162 (Mayank Trehan 46, Pankaj Joshi 32, Yogesh Sachdeva three for 24, Akash Malhotra three for 35).
