Easy for GHPS (India Gate)
NEW DELHI,
APRIL 8.
Guru Harkrishan Public School (India Gate) defeated its Loni Road branch 5-2 in the second all-India Sahibzada Ajit Singh Gold Cup hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday.
Vikas Khatri, Mandip Antil, Surinder and Rajinder Yadav scored for the India Gate branch while Akash scored both the goals for the loser.
In another match, Khalsa School (Amritsar) beat Bhupinder School (Moga) 5-2. The scorers for the Amritsar team were Surinder Singh, Onkar Singh, Jugjeet Singh, Manbir Singh and Gurbaj Singh while Pritpal Singh and Raivarinder Singh reduced the margin for the Moga outfit.
In the third match, Khalsa College (Amirtsar) overcame Khalsa School (Bhatinda) 6-0. The goals came through Gagandeep Singh (2), Gurvinder Singh, Raminder Singh, Pardeep Singh and Lovepreet Singh.
