By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, APRIL 10. Employees of Andhra Prabha, who are on strike demanding payment of wages, on Saturday gheraoed D. Srinivas, president, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), protesting against the allotment of party ticket to M. Gopalakrishna, publisher of the Telugu daily.

They raised slogans after the meet-the-press programme organised by the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists. Mr. Srinivas informed the employees that the APCC had written to Mr. Gopalakrishna asking the management to redress the employees' grievances.

Meanwhile, the Journalists' Association of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday expressed solidarity with the employees.
