Rahul scalps six

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 11. Medium pacer Rahul's six for 31 helped Pankajakasturi Cosmos CC to a 22-run win over Lovers CC in the Thiruvananthapuram district `B' division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Sunday.

Batting first, Cosmos batsmen, barring Ajish Chandran (81), struggled against a steady Lovers' attack and was dismissed for 185 runs in the 42nd over. But Lovers' innings was wrecked by an incisive spell from Rahul. Only Sulfi (49) offered some resistance as Lovers CC was dismissed for 163 runs.

The scores: Pankajakasturi Cosmos CC 185 in 41.2 overs (Ajish Chandran 81, Sulfi four for 32) bt Lovers CC 163 in 36 overs (Sulfi 49, Rahul six for 31).
