Indian Bank opens its account

MARGAO, APRIL 12. A 74-minute goal by substitute K G Joseph enabled bottom-placed Indian Bank shock Vasco Sports Club 2-1 to register its first win in the eighth edition of the National Football League (NFL) championship match at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda here on Monday.

For Indian Bank the goals came through K. Aseem in the sixth minute and K G Joseph in the 74th minute. For Vasco Edson Crasto scored the lone goal off a penalty in the 30th minute.
