Hearing adjourned on plea against Congress candidate

HYDERABAD, APRIL 12. A Division Bench of the A.P. High Court comprising Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice P.S. Narayana on Monday adjourned hearing in the writ petition filed regarding the Congress candidature of the Budwel Constituency, Cuddapah District.

The writ petition was filed by Vijayamma, TDP candidate for the same Assembly Constituency. She contended that the Returning Officer should not to have declared Govinda Reddy as Congress candidate when the State Government had rejected his resignation. The Bench adjourned the matter to Thursday.
