Bank of India's NPA recovery drive
COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore zone of Bank of India has recovered Rs. 47.23 crores of its total non-performing assets (NPA) of Rs. 133 crores during 2003-04. A release from the bank said that the recovery of Rs. 47.23 crores comprised cash recovery (Rs. 26.22 crores), upgradation of non-performing advances (Rs. 18.66 crores) and write-offs (Rs. 2.35 crores). The zone registered a net profit of Rs. 60 crores during 2003-04, the release added.
