Indian photographer assaulted

RAWALPINDI, APRIL 13. A police constable has been placed under suspension for allegedly misbehaving with an Indian photo-journalist, Suman Chattopadhyay of Pratidin, a Kolkata-based newspaper, during the lunch break on the first day of the third Test here on Tuesday.

The District Nazim (Mayor) of Rawalpindi, Raja Tariq Mehboob Kiyani, said an inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed its `deepest regret' over the incident. — Our Special Correspondent
