Unbeaten 172 by Vivek Kumar

NEW DELHI, APRIL 13. Vivek Kumar hit an unbeaten 172 as Bright Club defeated Inborn Club by 54 runs in a high-scoring `Super A' league match in the DDCA cricket league here.

The scores:

`Super A' Division: Bright Club 287 for six in 40 overs (Vivek Kumar 172 not out, Siddharth Kumar 32) bt Inborn Club 233 in 39.4 overs (Shawej Khan 49, Manu Kapoor 37, Deepak Rai 37, Kishan Soni three for 23).

Golden Hawks 267 for one in 35 overs (Vivek Srivastava 107 not out, Vishal Sharma 90 not out, Kuldeep Rawat 69) bt Darling Club 212 for eight in 35 overs (Rohan Raina 51, Vishal Kumar 37, Sushil Kumar 32 not out, Pradeep Mann four for 40).

`A-II' Division: Maulana Azad Club 207 for six in 35 overs (Mohammed Naved 59, Mohammed Yousuf 58, Syed Obaid 55 not out) lost to Young Delhi 208 for four in 25.3 overs (Sanjay Kumar 74, Rajender Singh Dara 58 not out).

Three Star Club 193 in 35 overs (Pushpender 83, Sandeep Kumar three for 31) beat Syndicate Bank 129 in 30.3 overs (Rajkishan Sharma 31, Raj Gautam four for 16, Saurabh Nischal three for 19).
