Pradeep scalps four
NEW DELHI,
APRIL 13.
Pradeep Sangwan's four-wicket haul helped Vikaspuri Club defend its modest total and beat R.P. Academy by 10 runs to win the inaugural R. C. Sharma memorial cricket tournament here.
Vikaspuri compiled 192 runs thanks to Shashikant Tehlan's 56 and Pradeep Sangwan (32 not out).
In reply, R.P. Academy seemed on course but its scoring rate dipped drastically as Sangwan snapped four wickets.
The scores: Vikaspuri Club 192 for seven in 40 overs (Shashikant Tehlan 56, Pradeep Sangwan 32 not out, Vipin Rawat 30, Afroz Masih three for 32) beat R. P. Academy 182 for eight in 40 overs (Sandeep Tyagi 46 not out, Kaif Mohammed 31, Pradeep Sangwan four for 41, Sanjay Sharma three for 24).
