APRIL 13.
The former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Ajit Jogi, who underwent surgery on Sunday for spine injuries suffered in an accident, was ``improving progressively'' and was allowed to sit today, cardiologist B.K. Goyal, said.
``Mr. Jogi is improving progressively and he was allowed to sit in bed today,'' he told PTI.
``His blood pressure, pulse rate are absolutely normal now and he even took normal food today,'' the chief cardiologist and honorary dean of the Bombay Hospital, Dr. Goyal, said.
A report from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, said that Renu Jogi, doctor wife of Ajit Jogi, today resigned from the State Government service, so that she could discharge her family responsibilities.
