KOZHIKODE, APRIL 14. The driver of a jeep was killed and five others were injured when the vehicle collided head-on with another jeep at Koodal, near Kuttiyadi, in the district this morning. The police said that Xavier (50) of Valiyaveettil house at Thottilppalam, near here, who was driving one of the jeeps succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. The condition of Kunjumon (60), who has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital here, is said to be critical. Two of the injured have been admitted to the Kuttiyadi Primary Health Centre (PHC) and the rest to the Medical College Hospital.
