Aswani Dutt gets nostalgic

VIJAYAWADA, APRIL. 14. The Telugu Desam Party candidate from Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency, Chalasani Aswani Dutt, became nostalgic while he campaigned in Krishna Lanka an area in the Vijayawada East Assembly segment here on Wednesday.

He told Krishna Lanka voters in an emotion-choked voice that coming to campaign as a contestant to this very area he had played as child made him nostalgic. He went on to say that he had many childhood memories in the city. Mr.Dutt campaigned in the Vijayawada East Assembly segment along with BJP candidate, Y. Jaganmohan Raju, here on Wednesday.

Mr. Dutt kicked off his election campaign offering floral tributes to the statue of B.R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Mr Dutt got a rousing reception from womenfolk in Krishna Lanka. They gave him `arati' and put the `vijaya tilak' on his forehead wishing him success in the ensuing electoral battle.
