Agilent to triple headcount

NEW DELHI: Agilent Technologies on Thursday said it would almost triple its headcount in India to 2,500 in the next two years, a move primarily aimed to accelerating the company's research and development programme besides enhancing shared services operations in the country. According to Edward Barnholt, the head of the company offering test and measurement solutions to the communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis markets, they had an aggressive growth plan for India. — Our Staff Reporter
