Jogi develops minor chest congestion
MUMBAI,
APRIL 15.
The former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Ajit Jogi, who was operated upon for a spinal injury at the Bombay Hospital on Sunday evening, today developed a minor chest congestion and was put on a breathing machine.
Dr. Deo Pujari of the hospital told UNI that an MRI scan was done on Mr. Jogi this morning to gauge the progress of his recovery. It was found that his cough response was weak.
He was put on a breathing machine for a couple of days.
He will remain in the ICU for at least three to four days more, the doctor added.
The former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister's progress, however, was steady. Yesterday, he was taken off the ventilators for the first time since his admission to the hospital.
He was also given physiotherapy treatment, the doctor added.
