Orissa Cements' expansion
NEW DELHI: The Dalmia group-owned Orissa Cements plans to invest Rs. 160 crores in raising the capacity of its plant at Rajgangapur in Sundergarh district. The investment would be made in raising production capacity from 1.5 million tonnes to two million tonnes, a company statement said here. The expansion includes brownfield capacity enhancement at the existing plant, it added. The expansion would strengthen company's leadership position in Orissa and give it surplus capacity for entry into neighbouring markets in West Bengal, Jharkand and Chhattisgarh. PTI
