CBSE pre-medical exams held
By Our Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI,
APRIL 17.
It was a night-long operation of vigil for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). And, for the students, the "extended" stress period ended on Saturday afternoon. The CBSE announced that the preliminary round of the All-India Pre-Medical Test passed off without any hitch.
The Board was cautious following the question paper leak last week. Though it refused to give details about the security arrangements, it admitted that it had conducted a night-long operation apart from framing alternate plans and strategies in case of an emergency.
"We were prepared this time round and had an alternate strategy in case of any eventuality. In fact, we had also made arrangements for an optional mode of storage. All necessary measures have been taken and the main examinations will be held as per schedule," the CBSE Chairman, Ashok Ganguly, told The Hindu.
