Devika-Roshni duo wins

BANGALORE, APRIL 17. Devika Ravindra and Roshni Prasad clinched the girls' under-10 doubles title in the Mehul Sirur Memorial State-ranking badminton tournament at the Prakash Courts here on Saturday. In the final, Devika and Roshni defeated Nidhi Patil and Sanjana 15-6, 15-7.

The results: Girls: Under-10, singles, semifinals: Anisha D. Karumbaiah bt Roshni Prasad 11-9, 11-5; Gowri Mohite bt Devika Ravindra 11-2, 11-1. Doubles, final: Devika Ravindra/Roshni Prasad bt Nidhi Patil/Sanjana 15-6, 15-7.

Boys: Under-10, singles, semifinals: Rajas Jawalkar bt Sharan Pillay 15-3, 15-1; S. Siddarth bt Nachiket Damankar 15-2, 15-2.
