Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your editorial, "Lara's magic" (April 16), was most interesting. At a time when the West Indian cricket team was losing ground, Brian Lara's stupendous batting has given it hope. It was a great pleasure to watch his stylish play.
Arcot Easwaran,
Sir, At a time when West Indian cricket is at its lowest ebb, Lara has revived memories of past glory with a record breaking 400 not out. He not only silenced his own critics but also those who were disappointed with the way the West Indies cricket was going from bad to worse. There is no doubt that he is the greatest batsman of our time.
M. Seshagiri,
