Subash sparkles

KOCHI, APRIL 18. Former youth international Subash Shenoy (36 points) steered favourite Central Excise (Kochi) to the final of the 26th CYMA all-Kerala basketball tournament at the St. John the Baptist HSS floodlit court, Nedumkunnam, near here.

Central Excise, which defeated Changanassery Basketball Club 78-51 in the semifinal, will meet KSEB (Thiruvananthapuram) in the final. KSEB defeated Sree Kerala Varma College (Thrissur) 90-67 in the other semifinal.

Central Excise, Kochi 78 (Subash Shenoy 36) bt Changanassery Basketball Club 51; KSEB, Thiruvananthapuram 90 (Bobit Mathew 26) bt Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur 67.
