NEW DELHI, APRIL 18. Protesting against the holding of a meeting of the Selection Committee by Delhi University for appointment of principals, the Delhi University Teachers' Association today demonstrated at Bharati College here where the interviews were being conducted. Maintaining that the "amended Delhi University Ordinances'' had not being approved by the Academic Council and terming it an "illegal notification'', a delegation of DUTA activists also tried to meet the Chairman of the College Governing Body, Kashi Ram Sharma. To protest against the "arbitrary'' functioning of the Vice-Chancellor, DUTA activists have given a call for a week long relay hunger strike at the Vice-Chancellor's office from Monday, April 19.
