Held with forged travel documents

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 18. The Emigration Department officials at the International Airport here on Saturday detained an air passenger on charges of attempting to travel to the Maldives using forged documents.

An official identified the accused as John Kumar John of Poovachal. The seal of the Protector of Emigrants on the passport of the accused was a forged one, the official said.

John was later handed over to the Valiathura police.
