This Day That Age
The three-man Indian Davis Cup team will leave Calcutta for Rome on April 29. The team will take part in the Italian championships, which will be held before their match in the Davis Cup against the winners of the Austria-Ireland tie. Narendra Nath, who is the captain and manager of the Indian team, told PTI that the team might stay in Europe after the Davis Cup matches to take part in the Wimbledon championships in June. Narendra Nath added that he had "great hopes" in that the youngest member of the team, R. Krishnan, would win a number of matches for India. The other member is Naresh Kumar.
