Appalling

Sir, — The content of present day cinema is appalling. The way violence is portrayed is bound to affect the mental health of the youth. Adding fuel to the fire are the vulgar love scenes.

The need of the hour is to prohibit extreme forms of negative portrayal in cinemas to save the younger generation from the chaos towards which it is being propelled.
