ITC launches Sunfeast biscuits
COIMBATORE: ITC is looking at a growth rate of 10 per cent in the Coimbatore region in the first quarter for its newly-launched Sunfeast brand of biscuits. "We plan to double that by this year-end," Sunil S. Narayan, Branch Manager, Coimbatore, told The Hindu. He said Tamil Nadu was the third largest market for biscuits in the country and his company was looking to make its presence felt here in a big way. "We plan to offload 350 tonnes in this region during this fiscal," he added. The company introduced biscuits both in the low-end (glucose and Marie biscuits) and high-end (cream biscuits) segments.
