New Chairman for MPEDA

KOCHI: The former Orissa Sales Tax Commissioner, G. Mohan Kumar, has taken over as Chairman of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA). He succeeds K. Jose Cyriac, whose five-year term had ended. Mr. Kumar had served in various capacities including Managing Director, Industrial Promotion Investment Corporation of Orissa. Mr. Kumar, who belongs to the 1979 batch of Orissa IAS cadre, served as Director (Marketing) of the MPEDA from July 1995 to August 2000.
