BANGALORE, APRIL 20. The Bharatiya Janata Party is bringing in the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, to campaign for it in the constituencies going to the polls on April 26. Mr. Modi will be in the State on Wednesday and Thursday. According to Mr. Modi's tentative tour programme, he will address a public meeting at the Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna's hometown of Maddur on Wednesday at 10.45 a.m. He will later leave for Mysore and address an election meeting there at noon. Before reaching Udupi, where he will address an election meeting in the evening, he will campaign in Madikeri, Chikmagalur, and Tirthahalli. On Thursday, Mr. Modi will campaign at Holenarsipur (10.45 a.m.), Haveri (noon), Khanapur (3 p.m.), and Hubli (5 p.m.) before leaving the State. Mr. Modi will be accompanied by the President of the State unit of the BJP, H.N. Ananth Kumar, and the former Chief Minister, S. Bangarappa.
