Partly cloudy sky forecast
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at Safdarjung on Tuesday were 40.1 and 23.7 degrees Celsius, while Palam recorded 41 and 26.8 degree Celsius respectively. The maximum humidity recorded at Safdarjung was 57 and 49 per cent at Palam, while the minimum humidity was 26 and 18 per cent respectively.
Uzbek women arrested
The police said the accused had come to the Capital on February 29 this year and had also visited Mumbai. Investigations revealed that they were into prostitution following which the police arrested them from City Park hotel at Pitampura.
Two held for cheating
The businessman, Suresh Gupta, lodged a complaint that on February 8 last year, he signed an agreement with Rishabh Jain and two of his sons, Mukesh and Dinesh for purchase of a property for Rs. 2. 40 crore. He paid Rs. 24 lakhs to the accused in advance. In the agreement, the accused had clearly mentioned that the property was not disputed and all the clearance had been taken for its sale. However, the accused did not produce the originals documents. When on repeated request, they did not show the documents, Mr. Gupta enquired from DDA and came to know that the accused had not taken permission for the sale,

Heroin recovered
Man found hanging
According to the police, 35-year-old Suresh, a resident of Okhla, was found hanging from a tree near his house today. No suicide note was recovered from the spot. Preliminary investigations revealed that Suresh was unemployed and had been passing through a phase of depression. Okhla police have registered a case and are investigating further.
Murdered
According to the police, the body of Raj Singh, who used to work with Jawahar Singh, a garment dealer living in Nangloi, was found in the house with stab wounds on his face and chest and bruises all over his body.
