Arun scores century
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
APRIL 21.
A.V. Arun struck a fine century (106) as Cyclebrand Kids CC crushed Indian Overseas Bank by 204 runs in the Thiruvananthapuram district `A' division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Wednesday.
Batting first, Kids CC piled up 311 for seven in its allotted 45 overs. Apart from Arun's century, there were useful contributions from the top order batsmen. However, IOB faltered from the start in its chase and was bundled out for 107 runs.
The scores: Cyclebrand Kids CC 311 for seven in 45 overs (A.V.Arun 107, Sambashiva Sharma 60, Bijumon 55, Vineeth 47, Madan Mohan 45, Rahul three for 70) bt IOB 107 in 41.5 overs (Devanand 25, Rohan Prem three for 38).
