Speaking to reporters here today, Vinayachandran Kottamangalam, who is the UDF leader in the block panchayat, said nearly 100 Congress activists in area joined him. Mr. Vinayachandran resigned his block panchayat membership also. He said dynastic politics and greed for power had become the feature of Congress politics and common workers had no place. Presenting the rebel, the CPI(M) district secretariat member, V.N. Vasavan, said Mr. Vinayachandran and his supporters would work for the CPI(M) in the coming days.
