BANGALORE, APRIL 21. The police recovered bodies of three persons who were reportedly drowned in Manchanabele Dam in Tavarekere Police Station limits on Tuesday afternoon. Seven persons, said to be the residents of Chamundinagar in Sriramapuram area in the city, visited Manachanabele Dam on a picnic on Tuesday. They went for a swim in the dam. Sharavanan (26) was caught in a whirlpool and drowned. Selva (25) and Raja (25), who tried to rescue him, were also drowned. Tavarekere police have registered a case.
