By Our Staff Reporter
CUDDAPAH, APRIL 23. The Cuddapah district Superintendent of Police, V.C. Sajjanar, on Friday said that foolproof arrangements have been made by the district administration and the police machinery to ensure free and peaceful polling on April 26. Addressing a press conference here, he said the polling stations have been categorised as: hypersensitive (177), sensitive (517), troublesome (204), ordinary (298), extremist-affected (216) and inaccessible (10). A total of 1,883 polling stations were set up and 301 mobile routes finalised. The 118 special mobile parties would visit each polling station once in 15 minutes to ensure mobility and visibility of police forces, he said. Fifteen special striking forces and 25 road check-posts have been set up in the district.
