ANANTAPUR, APRIL 23. Forty-four persons of two factional groups including the group leaders belonging to Nadimidoddi village of Narpala mandal in the district were sent to a seven-day judicial remand by the mandal executive magistrate and MRO of Narpala on Friday. According to the police, the groups of Peddi Reddy and Mudi Reddy were engaged in a factional feud since last four years. The two groups had attacked each other in 2003 and some members of both the sides were injured. The police had arrested them after the attack and released them on bail.
