CHENNAI, APRIL 23. AG West Bengal and AG Manipur entered the semifinals with contrasting wins in the IA and AD inter-zonal football tournament that got underway at the Nehru stadium here on Friday.

West Bengal, which had a sprinkling of national players, carved out a comfortable 3-0 win over AG Rajasthan.

Going ahead in the 10th minute through Kiran Kongsai, West Bengal led 2-0 at the half way stage after Prasanjit Paul had found the target in the 26th minute.

A solo by Dipankar Biswas completed West Bengal's tally.

Mohd Asif scored the consolation goal for the loser.

The tournament was earlier inaugurated by C.R. Visswanathan, vice president AIFF. The AG Tamil Nadu (A and E), R.S. Rangarajan, presided.
